If you want a treat for all your senses, take a trip to Bell Buckle, Tennessee! Whether it's the sound of the train passing through, shopping in unique shops full of crafts and antiques, or sampling many of the good things to eat and drink at one of the shops offering everything from home-cooked meals to coffee and desserts. While we were there we had fried peach pies that had just been fried by a wonderful lady in her eighties who fries batches of them every day! They go quickly so if you're in town, you better go early to get you some pies! While you're there, grab you an RC Cola and moonpie for later.
Ah, Bell Buckle makes me smile every time I think of it. It's a small town with a big personality and so much southern charm. The people who live and work there treat you like family. Go stay for a few hours, a day, or even longer. It's close to Franklin, TN and Nashville and worth the little drive over. It won't disappoint!
